Combatting Aging and Senescence

In the experiment, older mice treated with HucMDEs showed improvements in liver function, with decreased levels of harmful liver enzymes like ALT and AST. Protein markers associated with aging, p16 and p21, were also reduced in treated mice. These findings suggest that the therapy not only improves metabolic function but might also slow down the aging process in liver cells.
